For nearly 20 years, we have been committed to immersing our travelers in the traditions of Périgord Noir. Located in an old Périgord farm, our five adjoining cottages have been carefully renovated to preserve the charm of the stones and exposed beams, while offering modern comfort.
Classified three stars, our estate is the ideal place for family vacations where you can fully enjoy the fresh country air. With a capacity of up to 33 people.

Our cottages for groups
Celebrate an event in our estate, fully privatized for the occasion. Your guests will be accommodated in 14 comfortable rooms, hosting up to 33 people. Whether it's a wedding, a reception, or a countryside seminar, everyone can enjoy the two summer pools and the idyllic setting to unwind.
From April to September, our former barn transforms into a reception space, and all year round, our catering service is at your disposal to offer you an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Périgord Noir.

Dive into the history of Périgord
with Michèle & Jean-Pierre
20 years ago, Michèle and Jean-Pierre discovered the medieval city of Sarlat, its preserved countryside, and the jewels of local gastronomy.
Falling under the spell, they decided to leave the city to settle in the green landscapes of Périgord. They chose to renovate an old Périgord farm to accommodate travelers and share their love of the region. By immersing themselves in the traditions of the region, they developed their project: Jean-Pierre opened his wine cellar, and Michèle devoted herself to Périgord cuisine.
Thus began the adventure of Bonheur dans notre pré, a story marked by the beauty of their encounters, the calm of the countryside, and the flavors of the region.

FAQ
Of course, your pets are welcome to enjoy the tranquility of nature with you. They must be well-behaved and not cause any disturbances. We ask for a €20 fee per stay per pet, with a maximum of three pets allowed on the property.
You can reach our estate by car, by train from Sarlat-la-Canéda station (15 km) or Souillac station (16 km), or by plane:
- Brive Vallée de la Dordogne Airport - 25.6 km
- Bergerac - Roumanière Airport - 64.1 km
- Aurillac Airport - 86.4 km
We do not provide airport transfers, but rental cars and taxis are available on-site.
Our estate offers several parking options:
- A drop-off area at the entrance for unloading luggage.
- A shared parking lot for all gîtes, located behind the property.
- A private parking area reserved for Castelnaud cottage guests, which includes an electric vehicle charging station.
For motorhome visitors, a fee of €10 per night applies, plus a tourist tax of €1 per adult per night. Motorhome parking is allowed in the gîte parking area but not within the Castelnaud private parking lot.
You can modify or cancel your reservation up to 30 days before your arrival date.
We speak both French and English fluently.
